Job summary

BnM is seeking a Project Manager to support the Commercial team in Ireland. The role focuses on coordinating planning applications and environmental assessments for a range of Strategic Infrastructure Developments (SIDs) and renewables projects.

The successful candidate will assist with EIA/AA reports, liaise with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to consultation with local communities and stakeholders. AI-driven improvements are a core focus across duties.

Qualifications

• Hons Degree (Lvl 8) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Planning or equivalent.
• Postgraduate (Lvl 9) in a relevant discipline, e.g. Environmental Science, Engineering, Planning, Law.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience assisting with planning applications and Environmental Assessment.
• Knowledge and experience of project development for planning applications, coordinating environmental assessments.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on projects.
• Understanding of EIA process and Irish planning policy and legislation.
• Desirable: experience in Renewables or SID projects and coordination of EIAR/AA/NIS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivery of design, planning and environmental assessment requirements for Renewable Energy and other BnM projects.
• Coordinate and manage documentation such as EIA, AA Screening, Environmental Reports and EIAR/AA/NIS where required.
• Coordinate baseline environmental and constraints assessments and facilitate interactions among team members.
• Keep up to date with planning/environmental legislation and contribute to company submissions.
• Support stakeholder engagement including community consultations and attendance at events.
• Assist with procurement processes and specifications for third party services; promote AI-enabled improvements.
