Job summary

ACCA Careers is recruiting a Tax Assistant Manager - Manager in Ireland to lead the tax team within a dynamic firm serving family businesses, nonprofits, and international clients. The role offers flexible work arrangements and strong career progression.

The ideal candidate will have AITI and CTA credentials, 3+ years of post-qualification experience, and solid IT skills with Excel, Word, Outlook, ROS, and collaboration tools.

Qualifications

• AITI qualified (Associate of Irish Tax Institute) and Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA).
• Preferably 3+ years of post-qualification experience in tax.
• Experience in accounting or related qualifications beneficial but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing compliance in the tax department, including client interactions, supervision of trainees, and reporting to tax directors and partners.
• Preparing, reviewing, and filing tax computations, personal and corporation tax returns, CGT and CAT for domestic and global clients.
• Preparing, reviewing, and submitting VAT, VIES, Intrastat, and Annual Return of Trading details for clients globally, including Ireland.
• Registering new clients for Income Tax, Corporation Tax, VAT, and PAYE.
