Job summary

MSD is seeking a Senior Packaging Engineer to lead packaging development, transfer, and qualification across small and large molecule assets and medical device combinations. You will collaborate with ExM functions, external CMOs, and packaging partners to ensure compliant, efficient packaging solutions.

The role requires strong GMP knowledge, project leadership, and experience with packaging equipment and change controls.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in medical device or combination product engineering and pharma packaging.
• Experience with capital packaging equipment projects and technology transfers.
• Design control to product transfer for packaging facilities and devices.

Responsibilities

• Support technology transfers, qualifications, validations, and change controls for packaging projects.
• Ensure compliant packaging transfer, site readiness, and execution excellence.
• Coordinate with external packaging partners and manage technical discussions.
