Job summary

R&D Partners in Ireland is seeking a Packaging Lead to oversee daily packaging operations in a regulated environment. You will ensure safety, quality, and compliance while driving efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership role with flexibility for alternating shifts. You will lead a team, coordinate with cross-functional departments, and drive training and development to meet production goals while maintaining GDP-compliant documentation and

Qualifications

• Experience in packaging or manufacturing, preferably in a regulated industry.
• Knowledge of GMP and GDP and regulatory compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with ability to work in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead packaging activities, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
• Oversee packaging processes, including setup, line clearance, and changeovers.
• Monitor packaging lines for efficiency, quality, and minimal downtime.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Coordinate the availability of packaging materials and components.
• Provide training, coaching, and task allocation to team members.
• Support new product introductions, equipment implementation, and process improvements.
• Maintain inspection readiness and assist during audits and regulatory inspections.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
