Job summary

Black Pen Recruitment is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join a multinational ICT team, delivering agile services remotely within the EU. The role involves close collaboration with a major IT client and participation in cross-team Scrum ceremonies.

The candidate should have extensive Agile experience, SAFe/Kanban familiarity, and strong English communication skills. The position is remote, with international collaboration and ongoing agile transformation support.

Qualifications

• University degree and IT experience are required.
• Minimum 3 years as Scrum Master at SM2 level or above.
• Led 2 production teams through full sprint cycles.
• Implemented data-driven improvements to velocity and lead time.
• Experience coordinating cross-team work via Scrum-of-Scrums or PI Planning.

Responsibilities

• Organize and facilitate agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives).
• Ensure meetings are productive and timeboxed.
• Collaborate with Product Owner to manage backlog.
• Coach team on empiricism and incremental delivery.
• Track flow metrics and guide data-driven improvements.
• Champion agile practices and remove impediments.
• Promote empowered, self-organising teams and psychological safety.
• Communicate progress, risks, and challenges across teams.
