You will build user-centric ML systems for a two-sided marketplace and help optimize sponsored search to improve buyer and seller experiences. You will collaborate across product, engineering, and analytics, apply state-of-the-art ML techniques, run A/B experiments, and productionize models for retrieval, ranking, and ad allocation on Etsy.com and the app.

Qualifications

• Expertise applying statistical and machine learning techniques to real-world problems.
• Experience in ML for search, retrieval, or ads systems is a plus.
• Ability to design and ship production ML features with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product engineering teams to communicate model capabilities.
• Apply state-of-the-art ML to improve relevance and buyer ad engagement.
• Prototype, optimize, and productionize large-scale ML models for ads funnel.
• Conduct A/B experiments to validate model performance and impact.
