Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Payments Solution Architect based in Ireland for a fully remote, globally distributed role. You will shape and scale testing solutions across complex payment ecosystems, influencing strategy, offerings, and delivery with senior stakeholders.

You will lead technical solutions, engage with clients and partners, and drive thought leadership to advance payments testing maturity across markets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of deep payments experience.
• Strong quality engineering expertise in API integrations and testing practices.
• Proven solution architecture and troubleshooting skills.
• Client-facing consulting or managed-services experience with enterprise stakeholders.
• Commercial and strategic acumen including offering development and cost-to-serve.
• Strong systems-thinking, problem-solving and adaptability.
• Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences.
• Leadership and influencing capabilities without direct authority.
• Master's degree preferred in Finance, CS, SWE or related field.

Responsibilities

• Define, launch, and evolve the payments testing services and pricing models.
• Set a strategic direction, identify market opportunities and innovative approaches.
• Drive commercial growth with sales and alliances on enterprise opportunities.
• Build partnerships with external technology, payments, and consulting partners.
• Design technical solutions for mobile payments, wallets, gateways, POS, and online banking.
• Provide hands-on delivery leadership from scoping to delivery reviews.
• Resolve complex payment integration and quality challenges across markets.
• Elevate client and delivery capabilities with new methodologies and best practices.
• Lead thought leadership through papers, webinars, and industry engagement.
• Influence cross-functional teams across time zones without direct authority.
