Job summary

Children’s Health Ireland is seeking a paediatric major trauma nurse to support the acute trauma pathway and coordinate care for children and their families. You will work closely with the Trauma Clinical Lead to develop the Paediatric Major Trauma service at the National Paediatric Hospital.

The role emphasises strong communication, timely decision-making and collaboration with a wide multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality paediatric trauma care.

Qualifications

• Registered in the Children’s or General division of the Nurses and Midwifery Board of Ireland.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinical care of children and families through the paediatric major trauma service.
• Act as a key contact and advocate to support patients through the acute trauma pathway.
• Collaborate with the Trauma Clinical Lead to develop and integrate the Paediatric Major Trauma service.
