Job summary

Version 1 in Ireland is seeking a seasoned Oracle PL/SQL Developer with 5+ years' experience to join a Public Sector & Utilities team. You will work with product owners, cross-disciplinary teams and QA to deliver robust, scalable database solutions.

Responsibilities include managing project source code, developing packages for background processing and reports, and providing ad hoc reports. Knowledge of Oracle spatial extensions, APEX and OAP is beneficial.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ Oracle PL/SQL Developer experience.
• Good understanding of code version management and code promotion practices in an enterprise environment.
• Good knowledge of source control tools.
• Effective communication (written and oral), interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills.
• Experience with effort estimation and requirements gathering.
• Database tuning and performance monitoring skills.
• Understanding of data modelling and database design.
• Familiarity with preparing and maintaining technical documentation.
• Familiarity with unit testing and continuous integration.
• Knowledge of APEX and OAP.
