Job summary

Ekco Group is seeking an experienced Microsoft Security Consultant to guide enterprise clients in assessing, designing, and implementing secure Microsoft cloud solutions. You will work across Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid environments, leading workshops, pre-sales through delivery, and executive communications.

This is a remote-based role with a preference for candidates in Ireland, especially Dublin, with occasional client-site travel.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of practical information security experience across Microsoft 365, Azure or hybrid environments.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Defender XDR, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, Entra ID and Purview.
• Experience turning business and regulatory needs into security designs and roadmaps.
• Proven consultancy and stakeholder management, leading workshops and design sessions.
• Experience with infrastructure as code using Bicep and/or Terraform and source control.

Responsibilities

• Lead client discovery, security envisioning and design workshops.
• Assess, design, implement and optimise security across Microsoft 365, Azure and hybrid environments.
• Translate requirements into practical architectures and implementation plans.
• Contribute to repeatable, governed cloud deployments using IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Produce clear technical designs, runbooks and executive-facing recommendations.
• Engage stakeholders and support pre-sales and delivery motions.
• Mentor colleagues and stay current with Microsoft security capabilities.
