Job summary

Sonata Software is seeking a seasoned Microsoft Office Apps Customer Engineer to enable enterprise productivity via Microsoft 365 Apps. You will support customers, optimize Teams usage, and deliver workshops while collaborating with client IT teams.

Strong communication, problem-solving, and remote/on-site diagnosis are essential. Based in Ireland with remote work options, the role demands deep knowledge of Office Apps, Windows, and deployment best practices to ensure seamless enterprise

Qualifications

10+ years in customer-facing roles involving systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, and IT consulting, with emphasis on Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise
Teams BA/BS in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Customer-focused mindset with commitment to high-quality support
Experience delivering technical workshops, training sessions, and webinars on Microsoft 365 best practices
Provide technical support for M365 Apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to M365 Apps remotely and on-site
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 Apps features and functionalities
Experience deploying, administering, and troubleshooting Office Suites or Microsoft 365 Apps
Collaborate with IT teams for seamless integration of OfficeApps
Stay current with updates and guide customers on implementation
Knowledge of Windows operating systems
Writing skills to write enterprise level learning documentation
