Hitachi Energy Ireland Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our High Voltage business across Ireland. You will deliver commissioning, maintenance and technical support for HV power systems while ensuring safe operation and project success.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with HV power systems experience.
• Knowledge of 38kV, 110kV and 220kV equipment.
• Experience in protection relays, testing and relay programming.
• Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting and repair in utility sectors.
• Proficient in fault diagnosis and technical reporting.

Responsabilités

• Develop and execute commissioning plans for HV equipment.
• Lead commissioning activities and ensure compliance with specs.
• Prepare test documentation and handover packs.
• Coordinate schedules with customers and subcontractors.
• Carry out inspection, testing and fault diagnosis.
• Monitor progress and report on safety and performance.
• Support customer acceptance testing and sign-off.
