Job summary

PFH Technology Group seeks a Cloud Operations Transformation Lead to design and deliver a cloud operations transformation programme for a large public sector customer. Location is remote with occasional travel to Cork, Meath and Dublin; role requires strong IT operations, cloud, and governance experience across Azure and AWS.

You will define target operating models, build practical operating processes, and manage senior stakeholders to ensure secure, resilient, cost-optimised cloud practices

Qualifications

• Management experience in IT operations or cloud operations
• Experience delivering transformation initiatives in enterprise/public sector environments
• Strong understanding of IT operations management, risk and governance
• Experience designing operating processes for cloud or hybrid IT (Azure/AWS)
• Ability to translate frameworks into practical policies and procedures
• Solid project management including planning, dependencies, reporting

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of a cloud operations transformation programme
• Define practical target operating model aligned to ITIL and cloud frameworks
• Design operational processes across backup, patching, security, monitoring, incident and change management
• Produce customer-facing documentation (policies, standards, procedures, manuals)
• Bring IT and cloud operations knowledge to Azure and AWS environments
• Manage senior customer stakeholders with clear communication and progress
• Chair weekly status meetings and track risks/issues to completion
• Lead a blended PFH/TerraAlto delivery team
• Support governance and continuous improvement post-programme
