Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an Applied AI Architect to design, implement, and maintain production-grade agentic AI systems for clients. You will advise customer AI architects and engineers, lead architecture reviews, and co-design multi-agent architectures end-to-end with a focus on reliability and performance.

You will work directly with customers, stay current on agent frameworks, and help shape decisions with hands-on expertise, not just theoretical designs.

Qualifications

• Proven agentic systems experience in production, not just demos.
• Genuine consultant role with customer-facing trust building.
• Deep architectural credibility for multi-agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Advise customer AI architects and senior engineers as the trusted technical adviser.
• Run discovery, workshops and architecture reviews with stakeholders.
• Architect multi-agent systems, orchestration, memory, routing, guardrails for real workloads.
• Build reference implementations, evaluation suites and accelerators for client use.
• Solve production problems like hallucinations, tool-call failures and latency at scale.
• Set the technical bar and pressure-test customer designs as a peer to senior architects.
• Define evaluation and observability strategies including eval suites and monitoring.
• Mentor Applied AI Consultants and Associates on advanced AI engineering.
