Job summary

KIRA is seeking an experienced Android engineer to build the native Android experience for our AI Finance Agent. You will craft clean, fast, and reliable mobile features that power real user journeys across insurance, payments and financial services.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of Kotlin Android development, strong fundamentals, and experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow. This role is remote with a requirement to be based in Ireland and to collaborate across global teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Android development using Kotlin.
• Strong fundamentals and production app shipping experience.
• Knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow and modern Android architecture.
• Focus on UX, edge cases, reliability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features with Kotlin.
• Create clean mobile flows for insurance, payments and financial services.
• Collaborate with product/design to simplify user journeys.
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure stability and security.
• Improve app performance and reduce crashes.
