Zusammenfassung

AA Euro Healthcare is recruiting compassionate Relief Healthcare Assistants to support nursing teams in a community hospital setting along the East Galway/Roscommon border. You will provide high-quality, person-centred care under supervision of registered nursing staff, upholding patient dignity and wellbeing.

Flexible day and night shifts are available to meet service needs. Successful candidates will have QQI Level 5 recognition and Garda vetting, with training provided as required.

• Assist patients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, toileting and continence care while maintaining dignity and privacy.
• Support patient mobility, transfers and repositioning per safe moving procedures.
• Assist with meals, hydration and nutritional needs as directed by nursing staff.
• Monitor and report changes in patients’ physical, emotional or behavioural wellbeing.
• Carry out delegated clinical observations and documentation within training and competency levels.
• Promote patient independence, comfort and wellbeing through compassionate, person-centred care.
• Provide support to patients receiving palliative and end-of-life care.
• Maintain infection prevention, hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Assist with maintaining patient areas, equipment and supplies.
• Work with nursing staff and multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.

Essential Requirements
