Job summary

Amazon Ireland is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and ensure safety standards are met, minimizing downtime and keeping operations running smoothly.

You will perform proactive and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults in a live distribution environment, and work with modern tools to maximise equipment effectiveness. The role includes shift work, safety compliance, and supporting on-site apprentices.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Experience as a qualified engineer in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• NFQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or completed a 4-year IRL/UK certified apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across a range of EU sites.

Education
