Job summary

Yadimen Consulting Limited is seeking a Release Train Engineer / Developer to coordinate releases for a major lending platform built on FIS ALS.

The role sits at the centre of the programme, orchestrating the release train across development, testing, infrastructure and business teams, and serving as the communication bridge between Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Teams, business users and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong mainframe skills (COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2) and exposure to CoolGen/IEF.
• Experience coordinating releases across development, testing, infrastructure and business teams.
• Hands-on planning of SIT/UAT/Pre-Prod/Production deployments and cut-over.
• Exposure to FIS ALS or a comparable lending / core-banking platform.
• Change/configuration management (Endevor/Changeman), scheduling (Control-M/CA7), Connect:Direct.
• Comfortable managing tiered environments (Dev/Test/UAT/Pre-Prod/Prod/DR).
• Release Train Engineer experience in SAFe/Agile (PI planning, scrum-of-scrums).
• Lending domain knowledge (loan origination, servicing, commercial lending, credit).
• Vendor release cycles and patch management on a packaged banking product.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate release schedules across ALS development, testing, infrastructure and business teams.
• Plan and orchestrate SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod and Production deployments and cut-over.
• Manage ALS upgrades, patches and vendor (FIS) releases.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance changes are delivered on schedule.
• Coordinate changes across ALS modules and interfaces with Core Banking and Treasury systems.
• Collaborate with FIS/vendor support, business SMEs, testing and infrastructure teams.
• Manage code promotion and environment readiness.

• Ensure regulatory andcompliance-related changes are delivered on schedule.
  
• Coordinate change acrossALS modules: Loan Origination, Credit Administration, Commercial Lending,Loan Servicing, and interfaces with Core Banking and Treasury systems.
  
• Collaborate withFIS/vendor support teams, business SMEs, testing teams and infrastructureteams.
  
• Manage code promotion,environment readiness and cut-over planning.

Communication & governance

• Act as the bridgebetween Product Management, Product Owners, Scrum Teams, business usersand leadership.
  
• Track dependencies,risks and readiness across the release train; represent changes atchange-approval forums (CAB).

Requirements

Essential skills
