The role sits at the intersection of reinsurance accounting, business understanding, and process improvement, with a strong focus on challenging existing ways of working and building better, more scalable solutions.
The role holder will collaborate and contribute as part of a global team, working closely with internal and external stakeholders including cedents, retrocessionaries, vendors, banks and local authorities. A key part of the role is to understand the underlying reinsurance transactions, connect commercial substance with accounting, tax and reporting requirements, and translate this into robust, efficient and well-controlled processes.
