Job summary

Duniacare is seeking an experienced Registered General Nurse for a specialist Cardiac Cath Lab role in a leading private hospital in Dublin. You will join a multidisciplinary team and provide patient-centered nursing care in a high-acuity cardiac environment.

The successful candidate will have NMBI General Division registration, at least 3 years post-registration acute hospital experience, and relevant cardiac/procedural nursing exposure, with excellent English communication and a legal right to

Qualifications

• Registered in the General Division of the NMBI Register.
• Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Experience in Cardiac Cath Lab or relevant cardiac/procedural area in an acute Irish hospital.
• Strong clinical and professional competence.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Existing legal right to work in Ireland.
• Relevant specialist or postgraduate nursing qualification.
• Experience in procedural or cardiac nursing.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate high-quality patient care
• Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac procedures
• Prepare and support patients before, during and following procedures
• Work closely with Consultants, Clinical Nurse Managers and the multidisciplinary team
• Respond appropriately to clinical deterioration and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Work in accordance with hospital policies and NMBI professional standards
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety and ongoing professional development

We are recruiting an experienced Registered General Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab for a leading private hospital in Dublin.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse with acute hospital experience who is looking to develop further within a specialist cardiac environment, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team.

• Registered in the General Division of the NMBI Register
• Minimum 3 years' post-registration experience in an acute hospital setting
• Previous experience within a Cardiac Cath Lab or relevant specialist cardiac/procedural area in an acute Irish hospital
• Strong clinical and professional competence
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Existing legal right to work in Ireland
