Job summary

Winthrop Technologies is seeking a Regional Planning Manager to oversee planning across a regional portfolio, ensuring consistency and alignment with business objectives. The role requires leading planning teams, governance, and effective resource management, with travel across projects in the region.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in construction planning across large projects.
• Experience in data centre, infrastructure or large-scale construction environments.
• Proven leadership in regional or multi-project settings.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Asta Powerproject.
• Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning across a regional portfolio to ensure consistency and alignment with objectives.
• Develop and oversee bid programmes to support tender submissions.
• Establish, maintain and govern master programme standards and reporting frameworks.
• Partner with Directors and teams to implement planning strategies and recovery plans.
• Provide strategic planning support through pre-construction, construction and commissioning.
• Review schedules, risks and resource requirements to drive delivery.
• Lead regional programme reviews and present updates to senior leadership.
• Monitor regional performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Integrate planning with commercial, procurement, construction and commissioning activities.
• Support business development with planning expertise for new opportunities.
• Represent planning in client, consultant and subcontractor meetings.
• Develop planning best practices, systems and tools across the region.
• Manage planning resources and allocate personnel across portfolios.
• Lead and develop planning teams and foster continuous improvement.
• Drive BIM integration and project controls innovations.
