Job summary

Winthrop Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Regional MEP Manager to lead regional MEP teams, drive successful delivery from pre-construction to handover, and ensure safety, programme performance and quality across projects.

The role requires travel across the region and close collaboration with Project Directors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical engineering background with extensive MEP delivery experience on large-scale data centre or similar complex

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
• Significant experience delivering MEP on large-scale mission-critical, data centre, pharmaceutical, industrial or similar complex construction projects.
• Proven experience overseeing multiple projects or regional operations simultaneously.
• Strong understanding of design management, procurement, construction delivery, commissioning and project controls.
• Demonstrable experience leading and developing high-performing MEP teams.
• Strong commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, change control and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, programming and project sequencing.
• Ability to influence, motivate and provide strategic direction across geographically dispersed project teams.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the region as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of MEP teams across multiple projects within the region.
• Drive the successful delivery of MEP packages from pre-construction through commissioning and handover.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
• Support project teams in developing and implementing construction, procurement and commissioning strategies.
• Review and challenge designs to improve buildability, cost efficiency, programme certainty and operational performance.
• Monitor regional project performance against key programme, safety, quality and commercial objectives.
• Work closely with Project Directors and senior management to identify project risks and implement mitigation measures.
• Ensure consistency in MEP delivery standards, processes and reporting across all projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Project Managers, MEP Leads and Engineering teams.
• Oversee procurement activities and ensure timely release of MEP packages and long-lead equipment.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
• Promote a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement and innovation across the region.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental and quality requirements.
• Mentor and develop engineering and project delivery teams to support business growth and succession planning.
