Howdens Joinery is seeking a Regional Maintenance Technician to travel across Dublin depots, install and refresh showroom displays, and carry out general maintenance to keep environments safe, professional, and welcoming for colleagues and customers.

You will work across multiple locations with a strong emphasis on Health & Safety, carpentry and fit-out tasks, and you will benefit from a competitive salary, bonuses, excellent pension, generous annual leave, and staff discounts.

Qualificações

• Full UK/Irish driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
• Proven knowledge of Health & Safety practices.
• Experience in kitchen fitting, general maintenance, fit-out or carpentry.

Responsabilidades

• Travel to depots across the region to install, update, and relocate showroom displays.
• Carry out showroom refresh projects to maximise sales opportunities.
• Complete general depot maintenance tasks including carpentry repairs and painting.
• Replace damaged fixtures, fittings, shelving and display units; assemble and install furniture and office equipment.
• Maintain storage, warehouse and staff facilities; conduct regular inspections and report hazards.
• Purchase maintenance materials with approval from the Depot Manager.
• Work in line with Health & Safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.

As a Regional Maintenance Technician, you will travel extensively across Dublin, Ireland, supporting our depots by installing and refreshing showroom displays, carrying out general maintenance tasks, and helping to create safe, professional, and welcoming environments for colleagues and customers.

What we're looking for:

What you'll be doing:

• Travel to depots across the region to install, update, and relocate showroom displays in line with company standards.
• Carry out showroom refresh projects, ensuring displays are presented to an excellent standard and maximise sales opportunities.
• Complete general depot maintenance tasks as required, including:
• Minor carpentry repairs
• Painting and touch-up work
• Replacing damaged fixtures, fittings, shelving, and display units
• Assembling and installing furniture and office equipment
• Maintaining storage, warehouse, and staff facilities
• Conduct regular inspections of depot facilities and report any defects or hazards.
• Purchase maintenance materials and supplies where required and approved by the Depot Manager.
• Work in line with Health & Safety Regulations at all times to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for customers and employees.
