Job summary

Winthrop Technologies in Dublin, Ireland seeks a Regional Design Manager to lead design teams, coordinate multi-disciplinary delivery, and ensure safety, quality and timely project completion across the regional portfolio.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related field with 10+ years' design or engineering management experience in data centres or large-scale construction, and strong leadership and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Services or related field.
10+ years in Design/Engineering Management within data centres or large-scale projects.
Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and coordinating complex delivery.

Responsibilities

Lead Design Managers and multidisciplinary teams across regional projects.
Establish regional design governance, standards and reporting.
Drive design strategy from concept to commissioning while aligning with programme, cost and quality.
Manage client, consultant and contractor relationships and risk escalation.
Oversee design submissions, RFIs, changes and coordination to stay on schedule.
Lead value engineering, standardisation and compliance activities.
Monitor performance via KPIs and provide executive updates.
Collaborate with Project Directors, Construction, Commercial and Commissioning teams for delivery and handover.
