Job summary

Rockwell Engineering seeks a Regional Contracts Manager to own engineering project delivery across the Leinster region. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will lead multi-project delivery, manage site teams and contractors, and ensure safety, quality and budget controls.

You will build strong client and stakeholder relationships, oversee commercial and contract administration, provide regular reporting and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience as a Project Manager within an engineering contractor environment.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary project, design build and turnkey is advantageous.
• Understand delivery of design support to client teams.
• Strong leadership experience managing and developing project teams including Site Managers, Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, and subcontractors.
• Demonstrable track record of managing full project lifecycle delivery, including programme management, quality control, risk management, and client interface responsibilities.
• Strong commercial acumen with hands-on budgeting, forecasting, cost control, variations, valuations, and final accounts.
• Solid understanding of contract administration (JCT, NEC, and bespoke forms).

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality.
• Manage site teams, resources and partners to achieve programme milestones.
• Oversee project quality, defect management, handover documentation and reporting.
• Provide regular reporting and planning to Operations Director with standardised updates.
• Manage regional budget, forecasts, cost reporting, variations, and final accounts.
• Administer contracts and manage contractual correspondence for delivery changes.
• Identify risks, ensure health and safety compliance, and maintain governance.
• Mentor and develop project teams, set objectives and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong client relationships and act as primary regional contact for stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources across projects to ensure efficient utilisation.
