Job summary

Veolia Energy Services Ireland Limited. is seeking a Refrigeration Technician at Grangecastle, Clondalkin.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial water/air cooled chillers and AC units, troubleshoot issues, and ensure site documentation and safety guidelines are followed. The role requires a Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 certificate, relevant refrigeration qualification, and at least 2 years’ maintenance experience in a Pharma GMP environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in maintenance and troubleshooting refrigeration equipment in a Pharma environment with GMP
• F-GAS 2079 Certificate
• NFQ 5 familiar
• Maintenance and repair of water-/air-cooled chillers and AC units
• Experience with major chillers (York/Sabroe/Trane/Carrier/Daikin) a plus

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on site refrigeration equipment
• Troubleshoot problems with utilities refrigeration equipment as directed
• Complete site documentation before/after tasks per SOP
• Liaise with contractors during planned service maintenance
• Update MTMs and SOPs to reflect site needs
• Follow Veolia EHS rules and guidelines

Your main role is to carry servicing, trouble shooting, and maintenance of Industrial water/air cooled Chillers and various AC units.Day to Day RoleCarry out work as per schedule supplied by the Maintenance Coordinator, Planner and as per site policies, schedules and procedures.Troubleshoot problems with utilities refrigeration equipment as necessary and as directed by site supervisorsComplete site documentation before and after work tasks, as per relevant SOP.Liaise with Contractors during planned service maintenance.Participate in the appropriate training and ensure that ITP meets the site requirements.Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task List steps and ensure these are always kept valid.Update MTL’s as appropriate to ensure they are always relevant to the site needs and meet findings from periodic reviews.Carry out Periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid.All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.Qualifications and ExperienceYou will have a Refrigeration F-GAS 2079 Certificate.Relevant Trade Qualification in Refrigeration, or A qualified industrial electrician which has transitioned to refrigeration2+ Years in maintenance and troubleshooting experience of refrigeration equipment in a Pharma environment and familiar with GMP requirements.Qualified to a minimum of NFQ 5Familiar and capable of delivering Service/Maintenance and repair of Water-cooled and Air-cooled Chillers and AC UnitsExperience on large ton Centrifugal and Screw chillers would be a distinct advantage but training will be provided as requiredHave experience with major Chiller manufacturers such as York/ Sabroe/ Trane/ Carrier/ Daikin.Good communication and interpersonal skillsAn ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-working skills.Computer Skills (Excel, Word etc)Please note:If you are an EU/EEA national, you will be asked to show proof of right to work in Ireland.If you are a non-EU/EEA national , you will require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland.Information on legislation and guides to the procedures in relation to obtaining greencard permits ,work permits, spousal/dependant permits is available on the Department of Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation website.
