Ballinlough Refrigeration Limited seeks an experienced Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic to service our Roscommon, Cork, and Dublin facilities. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigerated vans, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while minimizing downtime.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in LCVs, refrigeration system experience, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team across multiple sites. 40-hour weeks with overtime/on-call potential may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on light commercial vehicles as a mechanic.
• Experience with refrigeration systems (e.g. Thermo King, Carrier) is highly desirable.
• Refrigeration handling certification is desirable but not required.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, maintain, and repair light commercial vehicles (primarily refrigerated vans).
• Perform diagnostic tests and ensure vehicles comply with safety standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration issues; perform repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
