Job summary

Dawsongroup TCS Ireland in Naas is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to diagnose breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance and support installations on temperature-controlled equipment across blast freezers and cold stores.

You will join a field-based team, work on customer sites, manage paperwork and stock, and participate in a 24-hour on-call rota, with travel away from home as required.

Qualifications

• F-Gas certification is required.
• Electrical qualification and refrigeration qualification required.
• Full driving licence is essential for field-based role.
• Previous service engineering or refrigeration experience preferred.
• Good organisation and communication skills, including paperwork and van stock records.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to diagnose breakdowns, rectify faults and arrange remedial action.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance visits as per schedules.
• Complete site surveys, support installations and provide operating guidance to customers.
• Identify recurring equipment failures and report trends to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Participate in the 24 hour on-call rota and work away from home when required.
