Job description

Description

This role is part of the Value Recovery team and will work closely alongside the NPI Coordinator and other team members to ensure recovery opportunities are comprehensively identified and addressed. This individual will be embedded within RRL and third‑party processing operations - they will spend much of their time on the production floor observing processes, inspecting output streams, and identifying opportunities to pull material up the recovery funnel. This is a hands‑on, investigative role - the successful candidate will actively challenge existing disposition decisions, question established approaches, and look for value that others may have overlooked. Their findings and recommendations will feed into the broader value recovery strategy owned by the NPI Coordinator.

Key job responsibilities

  • Observing processes and inspecting material streams at RRL and third‑party operations, to identify missed value recovery opportunities

  • Inspect output streams and end‑of‑line material to identify components or sub‑assemblies that could be pulled up the recovery funnel

  • Challenge and question existing disposition decisions where there is potential for higher‑value recovery outcomes

  • Work closely with RRL and third‑party operations teams to understand current processes and identify where value is being lost

  • Document findings and provide inputs to the NPI Coordinator to inform the broader value recovery strategy

  • Support the implementation of new recovery processes identified through floor‑level observations

  • Contribute to other value recovery and reverse logistics initiatives as assigned by management
