Job summary

Athlone-based Sodexo Ltd is seeking a part-time receptionist and cleaner to join a prestigious corporate client site. You will greet visitors, answer calls, manage basic admin and keep the reception area tidy, while also handling cleaning tasks and maintaining confidentiality of information.

The role requires reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently with attention to detail. Availability Monday to Friday is expected, with a supportive benefits package from Sodexo.

Qualifications

• Experience in reception or cleaning is desirable.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Reliable with good attention to detail.
• Able to work Monday to Friday.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or area.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages and handle general enquiries.
• Assist with appointments, bookings and basic administration.
• Receive and distribute post and deliveries.
• Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming.
• Handle visitor and business information confidentially.
• Sweep, vacuum and mop floors.
• Dust and wipe desks, furniture and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washbasins and kitchen areas.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, including door handles.
• Empty bins and replace bin liners.
• Replenish soap, toilet paper and other supplies.
• Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards and low stock levels.
