Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Receptionist / Cleaner in Athlone for a part-time role. You will work five days a week, 15 hours total, from 8.30am to 11.30am, Monday to Friday, at a corporate site.

The role combines reception duties with cleaning tasks, offering an opportunity to contribute to a welcoming environment and reliable service. €17 per hour is offered, with opportunities for career development and access to Sodexo's employee benefits package.

• Must be friendly with strong communication skills.
• Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented.
• Experience in reception or cleaning desired but not required.

What you'll do:

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or area.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages and handle general enquiries.
• Assist with appointments, bookings and basic administration.
• Receive and distribute post and deliveries.
• Keep the reception area tidy and welcoming.
• Handle visitor and business information confidentially.
• Sweep, vacuum and mop floors.
• Dust and wipe desks, furniture and surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, washbasins and kitchen areas.
• Disinfect frequently touched surfaces, including door handles.
• Empty bins and replace bin liners.
• Replenish soap, toilet paper and other supplies.
• Use and store cleaning products and equipment safely.
• Report maintenance issues, hazards and low stock levels.

What you'll bring:

• A friendly manner and good communication skills.
• Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise reception and cleaning tasks.
• Previous reception or cleaning experience is desirable.
• Availability to work the stated hours Monday to Friday.
