Join the Sweet Adventure at Lir Chocolates! Lir Chocolates, based in Navan, County Meath, Ireland, is calling for a vibrant individual to step into the role of Receptionist Extraordinaire.
What’s the Job? As our receptionist, you’ll be the first point of contact for all the magic at Lir. You’ll greet visitors with warmth and charm, making guests feel like they’ve stepped into a chocolatey wonderland.

Pay range €28,500
Breaks 30 minutes paid & 30 minutes unpaid
- Ensure reception is manned at all times, greeting all visitors and maintaining a safe, clean and tidy environment.
- Perform general administrative tasks including photocopying, transcribing, filing, sorting and distributing paperwork.
- Handle incoming calls and messages.
- Ensure all visitors sign in and have IDs verified when required, while checking in scheduled guests and preparing clean, organised meeting rooms.
- Arrange catering for meetings and coordinate travel and accommodation for site visitors.
- Ensure canteens are stocked with tea, coffee, milk, and sugar.
- Support the customer shop and click & collect services.
- Maintain control of stationery supplies by selecting cost-effective options, tracking company credit card purchases, and saving invoices.
- Manage all inbound and outbound post and parcels, ensuring timely and accurate distribution.
- Assist with new starter inductions and HR document filing.
- Coordinate DHL sample shipments as requested by QA and maintain weekly tracker analysis for the finance team.
- Organise and manage charitable donations.
- Support HR with internal and external events.
- Create and update posters for the noticeboard.
- Take meeting notes when requested.
- Conduct weekly fire alarm checks.
- Support AEO audit requirements and assist during audits by managing visitor sign-in documentation.
Qualifications
- Previous administration/receptionist experience is essential
- Practical skills with office equipment such as printers, laptops, and phones
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Professional demeanor at all times
- Excellent verbal and telephone communication etiquette
- Organised and resourceful, with active listening and the ability to prioritise, schedule, and multitask
