A luxurious 4-star hotel located in the stunning Burren region of Co. Clare is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Receptionist to join our dedicated team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression.
  • Handle all guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and queries, providing information about the hotel, facilities, and local area.
  • Assist guests with special requests, reservations, and services during their stay.
  • Manage booking systems, including reservations, cancellations, and amendments.
  • Process payments and handle cash and credit transactions.
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required, including guest correspondence, record keeping, and filing.
Key Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, ideally within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication skills with a warm and approachable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using hotel management software (experience with Opera or similar systems is an advantage).
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
