Job summary

Edwards Lifesciences Gruppe in Limerick is seeking a Receiving Inspector to ensure components and devices meet design specifications and regulatory guidelines. You will inspect using instruments and document traceability.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent; preferred 2 years in quality inspection or warehousing.
• Must demonstrate accuracy, problem solving, and adherence to SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of components and devices.
• Verify receiving documents against drawings and QMS requirements.
• Control inventory and ensure correct labeling and storage.
• Train colleagues from other sites on inspection outputs.

Your work will involve you optimizing product development to impact patients around the world with pioneering technology.The Receiving Inspector assesses components and devices upon receipt to ensure regulatory and company guidelines have been met, and that the components and devices meet operational standards as designed.Working Hours: Monday to Friday; 7:30am-4pm (Finish at 3pm on Friday)How you'll make an impact:Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of components and devices using a wide variety of applicable instruments and equipment such as magnifying lamp, microscope, vision inspection system, callipers, etc. to ensure conformance with design specifications, working at a level greater independence with a higher level of productivityPerform verification of receiving documents with component and device drawings to ensure requirements are metReview, follow and perform job functions in compliance with established work instructions (i.e., routers) and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and entering information into JDE.Control inventory to ensure appropriate storage conditions and movement, as well as ensuring correct labelling of product status.Train colleagues from other sites, including inspection of their work outputOther incidental duties: General work area housekeeping, attend training for new processes and proceduresWhat you'll need (Required) :H.S.
