AECOM is recruiting a Cost Manager-Rail projects to join our Dublin office. The Cost Manager will oversee budgeting, procurement, and cost control across rail projects, ensuring robust cost management processes and compliance with standards and policies.

Reporting to the Cost Management Lead, you will drive full procurement lifecycle, produce detailed cost reports, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise costs and deliver value-for-money outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience delivering cost management for major projects.
• Extensive budgeting, scheduling, and cost-estimating experience.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and reporting capabilities.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement cost-control processes to monitor budgets and expenditure.
• Lead procurement lifecycle from prequalification to contract preparation.
• Oversee tender documentation and cost reports for senior management.
• Collaborate with Cost Estimating, Scheduling, Scope and Benefits, and Systems Implementation teams.
• Define cost objectives with project managers and monitor performance against targets.
• Identify cost risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise financial exposure.
• Provide cost analyses and recommendations to support value-for-money outcomes.
• Prepare and present cost reports, including variance analyses and projections.
• Support continuous improvement in cost-management practices.
