Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland is seeking a senior Design Delivery Manager to lead the multidisciplinary technical delivery of major transportation programmes across Ireland. You will coordinate teams across track, civil, structures, rail systems, environmental disciplines and act as Design Manager where required.

You will drive design reviews, governance and workshops, promoting design excellence and supporting the growth of the Rail business in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical delivery across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.
• Experience acting as Design Manager, Design Lead or technical delivery lead on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (Level 8 or Level 9).
• Chartered Engineer with Engineers Ireland, ICE, IET or equivalent.
• Collaborative mindset and commitment to technical excellence within project teams.

As one of our senior Design Delivery Managers, you'll lead the multidisciplinary technical delivery of major transportation programmes across Ireland. Working for clients including the National Transport Authority, Transport Infrastructure Ireland, Iarnród Éireann and local authorities, you'll coordinate engineering teams across track, civil engineering, structures, rail systems and environmental disciplines. AtkinsRéalis is currently supporting major programmes including MetroLink and DART+, and you'll help shape the delivery of similarly complex transportation projects throughout Ireland.

Your role

About you

• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering and design teams.
• Proven ability to coordinate technical delivery across multiple disciplines and stakeholder groups.
• Experience acting as Design Manager, Design Lead or technical delivery lead on complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of design assurance, technical governance and integrated project delivery.
• Ability to manage technical interfaces and bring teams together around common objectives.
• Experience delivering transportation, rail or major infrastructure projects.
• Strong communication, facilitation and leadership skills.
• Degree qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (Level 8 or Level 9 qualification).
• CharteredEngineer with Engineers Ireland, ICE, IET or an equivalent professional institution.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to developing technical excellence within project teams.
