Job summary

A healthcare organization is seeking a Temporary Radiographer to join their team at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda. Responsible for conducting radiographic examinations, ensuring safety protocols, and maintaining patient records. Ideal candidates will have a degree in Radiography and be registered with CORU, along with prior hospital experience. This position is for a minimum of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Radiography or related field required.
  • Must be registered with CORU.
  • Previous hospital experience is preferred.

Overview

Job Title: Temporary Radiographer. Location: Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of radiographic examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.
  • Ensure compliance with radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and the public.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging data.
  • Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret imaging results and support patient diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Assist in maintaining imaging equipment and troubleshooting technical issues as needed.
  • Provide compassionate care and support to patients during imaging procedures.
Skills Required
