Job summary

Joule Group in Ballycoolin, Co. Dublin, is seeking a Test Technician to join the compliance and test team.

You will plan, set up and execute test work, write detailed technical reports and provide precise feedback on product testing performance to ensure our heating, ventilation and hot water solutions meet ErP directives and European standards. The role requires solid plumbing knowledge and safe wiring skills, the ability to work as part of a team, and strong planning.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of plumbing and ability to apply it in practice.
• Knowledge of safe wiring practices.

• Strong planning and forward thinking.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up and execute test work.
• Write detailed technical reports.
• Provide precise feedback on testing performance.
• Work to ErP directives and European Standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to keep projects on track.
• Run day-to-day workshop activities and maintain safety.
• Ensure integrity of light installation works and piping.
• Maintain workshop/lab safety and test facility equipment.
• Occasional travel to labs or sites.
