Job summary

Boston Scientific seeks an R&D Technician S2 at its Clonmel site to provide technical support for electronic testing systems used in medical device production. The role covers fault finding, calibration, and ongoing equipment upkeep on a rotating day/evening shift.

You will document results and work with Quality and Operations to improve performance. The ideal candidate has NFQ Level 6 in Electrical/Electronic disciplines, 2–3 years in a related role, and hands-on experience with

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic test systems, instrumentation, schematics and manufacturing support practices.
• Hands-on electrical/electronic experience is a requirement.
• Experience interpreting electrical/electronic schematics and technical drawings.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out component-level repairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for electronic manufacturing test systems and equipment.
• Fault-finding and root-cause analysis on test systems to identify issues.
• Operate, calibrate, maintain, and support production test equipment.
• Document findings and report test results with schematics and procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to improve processes.
