About Your New Job
  • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Perform lead or support roles in device test planning, management, and execution.
  • Operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in prescribed formats.
  • Engage in root cause investigations and drive problem-solving efforts.
  • Perform calibration and alignment checks, adjustments, modifications, and source replacements as directed.
  • Work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
  • Lead or support Engineering Build Requests, inventory management, and build management for the project.
  • Assist in the creation of R&D prototypes as required.
  • Support multiple product development teams by executing test and build-related activities.
What Skills You Need
  • Diploma level (Level 7 NFQ minimum) in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in medical device testing, prototyping, or a related environment.
  • Experience/understanding of test methods, test reports, and use of test equipment.
  • Experience/understanding of managing R&D build requests, inventory management, and build management.
  • Critical thinking and sound decision-making abilities.
  • Focus on patient safety and customer service, setting high standards, and driving operational excellence.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English, both in writing and speaking.
