Qualifications

• Honours bachelor’s degree (level 8) in engineering or related technical field.
• 1–2 years medical device industry experience.
• Test method development and validation.
• Hands-on experience using SolidWorks 3D CAD.

Responsibilities

• Support design control activities across the product lifecycle per quality system regulations.
• Maintain design history file (DHF) documentation including inputs/outputs, verification, validation and design reviews.
• Assist in creating/updating product requirements, specifications and risk management files.
• Support engineering changes and lifecycle process documentation.
• Demonstrate commitment to patient safety and product quality; ensure data integrity.
• Participate in root cause investigations, failure analysis and product improvements.
• Assist in prototype development, CAD modelling, and design modifications.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, PM and Clinical teams.

You will play a key role focusing on project assignments that drive the innovation and commercialization of complex medical device assemblies. You will work with a talented cross-disciplinary team to support both new and existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of design control activities throughout the product lifecycle in in accordance with all regulations governing the quality system
• Contribute to the development, review, and maintenance of design history file (DHF) documentation, including design inputs, outputs, verification, validation, and design review records.
• Assist in the creation and updating of product requirements, specifications, risk management files, and engineering documentation.
• Support engineering change activities and associated documentation within the product lifecycle process.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety, product quality, and data integrity in all activities
• Participate in root cause investigations, failure analysis, and product improvement initiatives.
• Familiar with test planning, execution, documentation (GDP), and reporting.
• Support mechanical design activities including concept generation, CAD modelling, drawing creation, and design modifications.
• Assist in prototype development, engineering builds, and product evaluations.
• Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Process Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management and Clinical teams

Education & Experience:

• Hons bachelor’s degree (level 8) in engineering or other related technical field or equivalent experience.
• 1-2 years medical device industry experience
• Test method development and validation.
• Hands‑on experience utilizing SolidWorks 3D CAD or equivalent
• Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills.
