Job summary

Alpine Recruitment Group is assisting a building contractor developer to hire an Intermediate QS with 1-5 years’ experience for ongoing projects in the west and midlands. The initial project in Co Roscommon has a 2-year programme covering civil and new-build works.

You will report to the Senior QS and duties include preparing budget estimates, bills of quantities, monthly cost reports, interim valuations and variations, tender documentation, and valuing completed work to arrange payments.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction Economics.
• QS experience on building and/or civil projects with a main/subcontractor.
• 1-5 years’ experience in quantity surveying or construction economics.

Responsibilities

• Preparing budget estimates, bills of quantities, and monthly cost reports.
• Assessing interim valuation payments and reviewing project variations.
• Assisting with tender and contract documentation.
• Preparing, negotiating and analysing costs for tenders and contracts.
• Valuing completed work and arranging for payments.

Salary to €70K with package including car fuel card pension VHI etc
