Job summary

AA Euro Group has been retained to recruit a Quantity Surveyor for a leading Cork property developer delivering large-scale residential communities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive developer with a strong pipeline of work and clear long-term career progression.

Joining you will be responsible for cost planning, budgeting, procurement support and financial reporting while collaborating with Development, Construction, Design and Finance to ensure cost certainty and value

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Experience on large-scale residential developments.
• Strong commercial awareness with reporting ability.

Responsibilities

• Support cost planning, budgeting and cost control on large-scale residential developments.
• Assist with cashflows, cost-to-complete reporting and commercial updates.
• Support procurement including tender analysis and subcontractor recommendations.
• Assist in preparation and management of subcontract and supplier documentation.
• Monitor and report project costs, commitments, variations and risks.
• Assist in valuation and assessment of variations, pricing and agreements.
• Prepare and review interim valuations, payment recommendations and financial reporting.
• Support the commercial team in contractor accounts, applications and certification.
• Assist in managing claims and commercial correspondence with accurate records.
• Identify commercial risks and opportunities to support value-driven decisions.
• Assist in final accounts preparation and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work with Development, Construction, Design and Finance to ensure cost certainty and best value.
