Job summary

Arcon Recruitment Ireland is recruiting a Quantity Surveyor for a well-established West of Ireland construction company. You will work on residential and commercial projects across County Mayo, ensuring cost control and value delivery.

The role involves managing project costs from tender to final account, preparing valuations and cost reports, procuring subcontractor packages, and liaising with clients and site teams. A degree in Quantity Surveying and 3+ years' experience are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with a main contractor or subcontractor.
• Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Experience on residential and/or commercial projects.
• Full driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage project costs from tender stage through to final account.
• Prepare valuations, variations and cost reports.
• Procure and manage subcontractor packages.
• Monitor budgets and project profitability.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and site teams.
