Job summary

Fohntech Group is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager for a client in Stockholm, Sweden. You will lead cost control, contract administration, and commercial management of MEP and CSA packages to keep projects on budget.

The role sits in the PMO with senior stakeholders, involves reviewing contracts (NEC/FIDIC), forecasting budgets, and coordinating with planning and delivery teams on large-scale data centre projects, preferably with Nordic market exposure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related field.
• 5–10 years’ experience in construction/commercial roles.
• Experience on large-scale projects (data centres or mission-critical preferred).
• Strong understanding of contract forms (NEC, FIDIC, etc.).
• Proven cost management and reporting experience.
• Data centre or mission-critical project experience.
• Experience working within a PMO/client-side environment.
• Familiarity with Nordic markets or regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage project budgets, cost reporting, and forecasting
• Administer contracts (NEC/FIDIC or similar) and manage change control
• Review and assess contractor applications, variations, and claims
• Support procurement strategy, tendering, and package awards
• Monitor commercial performance across MEP & CSA packages
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Interface with project controls, planning, and delivery teams within PMO
• Provide accurate reporting to senior stakeholders and client
