Job summary

Apex Group's ART division in Dublin is seeking a highly capable Quantitative Developer to join the RiskMonitor platform, blending quantitative finance, data analytics, and client engagement. You will enhance risk analytics, implement new methodologies, and partner with investment teams to deliver scalable solutions in a fast-growing fintech environment.

The role requires strong MATLAB and SQL skills, experience with portfolios and risk data, and excellent communication to translate client needs

Qualifications

• Experience with MATLAB development.
• Strong SQL and database skills.
• Experience with investment portfolios, risk analytics.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to translate client needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance RiskMonitor analytics and risk calculations.
• Design risk methodologies, exposure calculations and stress testing capabilities.
• Support monitoring of market and liquidity risk and exposures.
• Translate business requirements into scalable platform capabilities with clients and internal teams.
• Collaborate with Product, Quantitative Development, Operations and Technology to prioritise enhancements.
• Engage Dublin-based clients and interact with Portfolio Managers, Risk Managers and analysts.
• Explore AI-assisted analytics and cloud-based data platforms to improve data access and insight.
