Job summary

C&F Green Energy in Ireland seeks a Quality professional to develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System on the manufacturing floor. You will evaluate operations for improvements, correct quality issues, and ensure parts meet specifications, while addressing customer complaints with CAPA and GMP-like measures.

Responsibilities include facilitating audits, championing lean quality improvements, managing Cp-Cpk/FMEA, and maintaining cross-department relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience maintaining a Quality Management System in a manufacturing facility.
  • Ability to conduct capability studies and FMEA, and develop control plans.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System in the facility.
  • Evaluate all manufacturing operations to identify possible process improvements.
  • Correct quality issues on the manufacturing floor as they arise.
  • Ensure all parts are consistently manufactured within specification.
  • Promptly resolve schedule priority conflicts among multiple projects.
  • Respond to customer complaints with effective corrective and preventive action plans.
  • Liaise with management regularly to report all ongoing issues that affect production.
  • Reporting from the manufacturing floor to engineering and quality management.
  • Facilitate Customer site visits and audits. Provide FAI reports, Customer Survey reports and CAPA Plans to address audit findings.
  • Act as champion and guardian of quality standards utilizing lean/ best practice thinking to realize sustained improvements.
  • Manage and implement Capability Studies (Cp-Cpk) and FMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions for New Products and ECO’s for New Customer and existing customers.
  • Maintain relationships with all departments in the manufacturing chain: Raw Material Sourcing, Supplier Appraisal and Management, Design Engineering, Production Management, Production Control, Quality Assurance.
  • Maintain all records pertinent to Inspections carried out by Q.C. department and Production lines in compliance with their relevant Record Retention periods.
  • Manage Suppliers and implement continuous improvement programmes with them via SCAR process and Supplier Audits.
  • Perform both sample and random Quality Visual Inspections on Production lines as directed by the Quality Engineer/ Manager.
  • Collect and collate the MRB data sheets from the Production lines. Enter data into the system for analysis by Quality Engineer/ Manager.
  • Perform internal audits and drive internal corrective actions within the organisation’s functional departments.
