Our client services include providing SGS Quality Specialists, QC analysts and technical support staff on-site to fulfill staffing requirements (Scientific In-sourcing), all under the supervision and guidance of ISL technical and operational teams. Like all SGS personnel, they are committed to upholding stringent technical and GMP standards, ensuring the safety of medications for the multitude of patients relying on the products we test.

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quality Specialist to join our growing team.



Job Description

  • Maintain a detailed working knowledge of the ISO 17025 and ISO 9001 Standard to ensure they are implemented and functioning as expected
  • Perform internal process quality audits specific to the refinery control lab.
  • Lead investigations and generate reports to include findings, root cause analysis, CAPAs, corrective action reports etc.
  • Advise Management of any perceived opportunities for improvement of the various quality management processes
  • Facilitate Management Review meetings
  • Assist with training in the lab and the maintenance of required training documentation
  • Assist with the generation of various reports related to our quality management process
  • Administer the lab’s Interlaboratory Crosscheck Program(s) (ILCP’s) participation
  • Take parts and leads INAB and NSAI audit visits.

Qualifications

  • Education and training: Science Graduate in Chemistry or equivalent science education (Level 7)
  • Necessary job experience: At least 3 - 4 Years experience in a QC & Quality control Systems.
  • Understanding of quality systems & maintaining them is of utmost importance for this role.
  • Good organizational skills and strong communication – written and verbal
  • Team player, flexible to evolving needs with a strong customer service mentality
  • Excellent quality and safety standards
  • Aptitude in lab computer systems, including LIMS and Trackwise
