Job summary

Abbott Ireland Diagnostic Division – Longford is seeking a Quality Professional to join the Quality Department. The role focuses on delivering high quality documents, services, products and processes that add value to the business.

The position requires apprenticeship or relevant third level qualification in Life Science or Engineering and at least 3 years of quality experience. You will support risk management, change control, and compliant documentation across site operations at Longford.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or relevant third level qualification in Life Science, Engineering, or closely related discipline is required.
• At least 3 years work experience in Quality or related field experience; Less experience may be appropriate with advanced degree.
• Demonstrates understanding of how their function supports the business.
• Demonstrates technical and business competencies that drive results and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Contributes to defining and timely achievement of overall project goals.
• Ensures compliance to site level policies and procedures by promptly reporting non-compliance issues.
• Applies basic Risk Management principles to work.
• Receives general direction and exercises discretion to own work detail.
• Ensures compliant documentation and area of responsibility with management oversight.
