Job Overview

The Quality Manager plays a key leadership role in advancing quality and governance across the Nursing Home Group. Working in close collaboration with the Persons in Charge (PICs) and the broader management team, this role ensures that all care services meet regulatory standards and reflect the organisations’ commitment to excellence and person-centred care.

The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing quality assurance processes, implementing policies, supporting staff development, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This position reports directly to the Chief Clinical Officer or a designated representative.

Education & Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse with current NMBI registration.
  • Qualification in healthcare management, quality improvement, or clinical governance (essential).
  • Qualification in auditing or risk management (desirable).
  • Full Irish driver’s license (essential) and willingness to travel across sites.
  • Minimum 3–5 years\' experience in a quality, governance, or compliance role within healthcare.
  • In-depth knowledge of HIQA standards, healthcare regulations, and person-centred care frameworks.
  • Proven ability to lead audits, manage risk, and support teams in a regulatory environment.
  • Strong analytical, report-writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering training and mentoring others on quality and compliance.
